This foundation is near and dear to our hearts because it is named after our grandmother who was a philanthropist. She was unapologetic about whom she gave to, what she gave and how much.  When someone was in need she would move heaven and earth to make sure that they were taken care of no matter the cost or situation and she did it with a smile saying it was the will of the Lord.

I said growing up that if I could be 5% of my grandmother I would be one of the greatest women in this world.  She did Cancer walks vigorously and she played a huge part in the City of Newark PTA by going to meetings and collecting over 10, 000 box tops for the Newark school system.  On top of all of that extracurricular activity outside of the home, she has been wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, cousin, friend, loyal & trustworthy individual to everyone who has grown to love her throughout her 84 years on this planet.  I can't think of another individual that I would have named a foundation after.
